Video On Demand (VOD)

Video On Demand is a robust dataset that provides access to TV episodes and movies available for viewing from online providers. VOD provides the most up-to-date information on online video availability, and enables compelling consumer applications more quickly and reliably with one data feed rather than dealing with the complexity of accessing and validating data from multiple partners.

Majority of content covered by the VOD dataset is comprised of high-quality episodic programming originally aired on a linear TV schedule or exclusively aired online, as well as theatrical movies released widely in theaters. Short-form content (such as previews, interviews, movie trailers, etc.), music videos, sports, instructional, and user-generated content are not currently covered by the VOD dataset.
